How We Differ

Many of our employees have an art background and we are able to advise on and agree values with clients. We provide a level of detail and understanding not just in providing cover for art, but also in household and commercial insurance, that is unmatched in the insurance market.
We look at each risk on its individual underwriting merits and are always happy to provide tailor-made solutions, however unusual or complex the requirements.
Swift Response
We provide quotations within 24 hours of the request being faxed to us.
Claims are settled as swiftly as is practicable. Payment is made to the client without delay as soon as the claim is agreed.
Handling Claims
In the unfortunate event of loss or damage, we are committed to settling claims sympathetically with speed and confidentiality.
We respond to claims immediately. If the claim is minor, it will be addressed straight away in-house. If the claim is larger or more complex, a loss adjuster will contact the client the same day that the claim is advised to us. Many claims are settled in a matter of hours and payment can be made directly by bank transfer, if required.
Our experience in insuring high net worth private clients ensures that we make informed judgements on the best course of action whatever the type of loss.
With art claims, we are able to offer advice where restoration is a possibility. We recommend the most appropriate workshops for a variety of media and will even collect and deliver pieces ourselves.
We recognise the importance of recovering stolen art and take an active approach in pursuing items through our many contacts. We are a founder member of the Art Loss Register.
